Update from Potter's House at Virginia Beach United Methodist Church (VBUMC): Aug. 26 was the last day of the cooling station at Potter's House. "We will re-evaluate if a hot day pops up in the upcoming weeks."

Individuals experiencing homelessness who need a place to cool down can visit the cooling station at Potter's House, 1709 Pacific Ave. (2nd floor) every Friday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Air conditioning and water will be provided. No appointment is needed.
