Virginia Beach Housing Summit Hosted by Councilmember Chris Taylor
The Housing Summit will offer the opportunity for residents who have a personal and professional interest in housing to learn from experts in the field during break-out sessions and panel discussions. Featured speakers are local developers, a representative from a nonprofit development corporation, and the former director of the Department of Housing and Neighborhood Preservation.
Topics to be covered include tools for affordable housing development, affordable housing facts vs. myths, ways local governments create affordable housing and perspectives from housing developers.
