Virginia Beach Housing & Neighborhood Preservation Accepting Project Proposals for ESG & CDBG Programs

Virginia Beach Housing & Neighborhood Preservation is accepting project proposals to be considered for funding under the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) programs for the 2024 grant cycle. The purpose of this funding opportunity is to facilitate the City’s goal of making homelessness rare, brief and nonrecurring. Eligible ESG/CDBG recipients (sub-grantees) are local government agencies or private non-profit organizations which provide assistance/services -- to include shelter and essential supportive services -- to the homeless or at-risk populations.
